Sunny Side Up Pizza
  • 6 slices Bacon, cooked (#1002358)
  • Pizza Dough for 12″ pizza (#213300)
  • 2 Plum Tomatoes, sliced 1/4″ thick
  • 1-½ cups grated Cheddar Cheese (#990015)
  • ½ tsp. Ground Black Pepper (#450430)
  • 2 Eggs
  1. Preheat oven to 500 F.
  2. Prepare dough.  Divide in two and roll out into two circles about 6 inches in diameter.  Place on lightly greased baking sheet.  Arrange tomato slices on dough.  Sprinkle cheese on tomatoes leaving a 2-3 inch well in the center (to hold the egg).  Place bacon on top of cheese around the outside. 
  3. Bake the pizzas for three minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and crack an egg in the center of each pizza.  Sprinkle with pepper and return to the oven.
  5. Bake until the egg is set and the crust is browned, about 10 minutes more.  Cut into wedges.
