Margherita Pizza
  • ½ cup Olive Oil (#280290)
  • 2½ cups shredded Mozzarella Cheese (#170550)
  • 1½ cans Italian Plum Tomatoes, drained and chopped (#401200)
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh Oregano, minced
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese (#190150)
  • ½ cup Basil, shredded
  1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees F.
  2. Brush dough with olive oil, making sure to cover all.
  3. Spread mozzarella cheese evenly on pizza, leaving a border about ½” thick. Next add tomatoes, oregano, salt and about half of the parmesan cheese. Finish by topping the pie with olive oil.
  4. Place pizza in oven and bake for 10 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
  5. Remove from oven and brush crust with olive oil once more. Add the remaining parmesan cheese and basil before serving.
